Zion National Park

The lowly Virgin River, cutting through countless layers of ancient sandstone, has carved a valley like no other. With cliff faces reaching thousands of feet high, this region is a hikers paradise. Two hike in particular are very popular; Angels Landing and “The Narrows”

Zion Valley in the early morning next to the Virgin River – glorious colors. The switchbacks of the climb to Angels landing, with some views of the Zion Valley from about half way up. The view from the aptly named Refrigerator Canyon. The last picture is a panorama of the view from the top. The picture in between is The Watchmen, a towering structure dominating views from the small town of Springdale.
