Description

Located a mere fifteen minutes from Ste. Adele, the Parc is a well maintained series of trails that comb through the area. My favorites are the trails that follow the contours of the river, giving plenty of photographic compositions. The park includes a none too strenuous climb to a lookout, just for a change. The park is accessible by car with plenty of parking, and bathroom facilities at the entrance. Alternatively you can reach the park by bike, since there is an entrance on the Petit Train du Nord. I have travelled to the Laurentians hundreds of times, but never visited this park, it was only on the advice of a friendly local that I discovered the park last summer. I just realized this would be a great location for a fall shoot, once the colors start changing.

A nice view of the river close to the park entrance.
A great thing about the park is the accessibility to the river.
A mini waterfall, nestled in the ferns.
There are so many locations to capture great images.
A calmer part of the river, with a nice tunnel of light into the scene.
The river flow.
Another part of the river surrounded by the fall colors.
